Cicatrizant and antiseptic agent for wounds
Cothivet contains a mixture of mother tinctures and essential oils of eight plants with cicatrizing and antiseptic properties.
Cothivet is safe to use on all animals including horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits, poultry, dogs and cats.
Uses:
Cothivet is particularly recommended for the treatment of:
- Wounds due to injuries and burns
- Irregular, ulcerous wounds
- Self-inflicted wounds by licking
- Atonic wounds
- Decubitus scabs
- Various dermatoses
- Wounds of anal glands

Composition:
Centella asiatica (Hydrocotyle) mother tincture
Lavendula officnalis (Lavender) natural essential oil
Rosemarinus afficinalis (Rosemary) natural essential oil
Aesculus hippocastanum (Horse-Chestnut) mother tincture
Thymus officinalis (Thyme) natural essential oil
Cypressus officanalis (Cypress) essential oil
Medicago sativa (lucerne) mother tincture
Carlina acaulis mother tincture
Directions for use:
Apply 3 or 4 times daily widely and generously directly to the wound. Repeat treatment until healing is complete. One can also apply it by soaking with cottons or compresses put down onto the wound.
Cothivet is not toxic. Licking of the treated areas, although not recommended as it partially reduces the action of the medicine, does not induce any adverse effects for the animal. It may be used on pregnant or suckling females
