Product description
Calcium borogluconate is for treatment of hypocalcemia (also called parturient paresis and commonly called milk fever) in cattle, sheep, and goats, and administered at 1 ml/kg ( intravenous, intramuscular, or subcutaneous). No withdrawal time is required (Allen, et al, 1993).
Calcium gluconate 33.33 % m/v
Boric acid 6.67 % m/v
Calcium borogluconate is available as a sterile 40% m/v aqueous solution, containing 0.1% chlorocresol as a preservative.
Directions for use: Use only as directed. By subcutaneous or intravenous injection. Warm the remedy (to approximately 37°) prior to use and if injected intravenously it must be given slowly.
